August 18, 2015More than 1000 total years of hard work were recognized recently at the District’s annual back-to-school kick-off meeting for all staff. Fifty-nine staff members from all areas of the district were recognized and thanked for their contributions. Special congratulations went to Mary Blietz, Bill Donato and Toby Parker-Goad who have all been with D200 for 30 years. Please see “Read more” below for photos and a listing of all who were honored.
August 18, 2015Northwood Middle School is proud to welcome our new Principal, Mr. Jeremy Schaaf. Mr. Schaaf is a familiar face to many District 200 students and families as he has served as the Assistant Principal at Woodstock North High School for the past six years.

February 9, 2015We are pleased to announce the availability of a new school communications app for smartphone or tablet. The Family App is an extension of the eSchoolPLUS Home Access Center currently available for parents of middle and high school students. The eSchoolPLUS Family App, available to all parents, will provide attendance and fee payment information, as well as the ability to email teachers from a phone. Middle and High School parents will also have access to information about student assignments and course grades. (This feature is currently being developed for use at the elementary level.)
November 17, 2014When your child is absent, please call the attendance line at 815-337-8618 before 8:30 a.m. on the day of the absence. You will need to report all symptoms your child is experiencing, including the degree of the fever. If we have not received an attendance call regarding your child by third period, you will receive the automated call stating your child is unexcused and the message will ask you to call the attendance line to report the absence. The office will not be able to request homework from teachers until your child has been absent for three consecutive days.
