April 11, 2014The last day of school for 8th graders (not going to Washington D.C.) is Tuesday, May 27th at 3:30 p.m. The last day of school for 6th and 7th graders is Wednesday, May 28th at 1:40 p.m.
April 9, 2014Registration is now open for the District’s 2014 Summer Youth Art Camp. Offered each year by the D200 art and graphics teachers, the camp is held at Woodstock High School and offers children experience in painting, drawing, computer art, and sculpture.
April 4, 2014Thursday, April 24th, the Northwood PTO and Woodstock North Booster Club will be holding a spirit wear garage sale at Northwood Middle School. The garage sale will take place at 4:00 p.m. rain or shine. If the weather is beautiful, the sale will be set up outside by the track meet. If it is rainy, the garage sale will be set up in the new gym.
March 28, 2014The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) has funded the administration of the Illinois Youth Survey (IYS) biennially since 1990. The IYS is a self-report survey administered to students in grades 6 through 11, designed to gather information about a variety of health and social issues including substance use patterns and attitudes of Illinois youth.
March 3, 2014Calling all 7th grade parents - if you are interested in seeing first hand how memorable the 8th grade promotion ceremony is, this is the perfect opportunity for you. After the promotion ceremony, the PTO and 7th grade parents host a reception for all 8th graders and their parents, complete with cookies, punch and a photo backdrop. This is where we need your help. February 26, 2014The District 200 Board of Education has announced that at its February 25 meeting, Michael Moan was appointed as the new Superintendent for Woodstock District 200. Mike grew up in Woodstock and graduated from Woodstock High School. He has served Huntley District 158 as a teacher, Dean of Students, Principal and, most recently, its Chief Academic Officer.
February 26, 2014The Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the school board. The successful candidate will be appointed during April and will serve until the Spring 2015 election.
