District 200 art and graphics teachers will offer a Youth Summer Art Camp at Woodstock High School from June 3 - 6 for students in grades 2 - 8. Students will receive experience in painting, drawing, computer art, and sculpture.March 7, 2013
The District 200 Board of Education has approved the school year calendar for the 2014-15 school year. The calendar mirrors those of the previous few years in which students started class in mid-August and the first semester ended at Winter Break.February 14, 2013
District 200 began implementing the Common Core State Standards when they were released in June 2010, and we are working to integrate those standards across all content areas in all schools.February 11, 2013
The Illinois State Board of Education has created a survey instrument being given statewide for teachers, as well as students in 6th - 12th grades called the Illinois 5Essentials Survey. The information this survey gathers will be used to help improve our schools. Between now and March 22, the middle and high schools will be asking students to complete the 15 minute survey.February 5, 2013

Northwood Middle School will be hosting our region of the Illinois Grade School Music Association (IGSMA) large group contest on Saturday, March 9th. Approximately 30 choirs, totaling over 800 students, including the NMS choirs, will be visiting Northwood Middle School to perform, be judged, and rated.
