Band Camp once again to provide summer music fun

Band students entering 6th and 7th grades will  be provided again with a summer band camp in Woodstock.  The camp will be held at Emricson Park from July 9th-13th, from 10am to 1pm, concluding with a concert on Friday, July 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Woodstock Square.  The concert will be the culmination of the week of practice and fun.  The camp is run by the District 200 Band Directors.

A Generous Community Makes the Corn Stalkers’ Dream Come True!

With the financial assistance our giving community pledged, the Northwood Middle School robotic team the “Corn Stalkers” will be heading to Germany this June! The overwhelming willingness to help by so many has been a humbling experience.

Bugsy Malone Jr.- Northwood Musical Performance

Let Northwood Students take you back to the twenties when flapper dancers and speakeasy's ruled New York.  Join Bugsy Malone as he saves the day at Fat Sam's Speakeasy between Dandy Dan's and Fat Sam's gangs.  If that wasn't enough, Bugsy also helps the beautiful Blousey Brown launch her singing career.

New online summer school available for 2-8 graders

For even the most successful students, the long summer break can lead to a drop in the level of skills in core areas like reading and math.  For students who are already struggling, the problems with skill retention are even greater.  This summer District 200 will offer a new “Virtual Summer School” program to help students retain the level of proficiency achieved during the previous school year.

Goal: European Robotics Championship Challenge: Raise $16,400

Eight students in the Northwood Middle School Challenge Corps program have been given an opportunity of a lifetime, but it also comes with a big challenge. The Corn Stalkers robotics team has been invited to compete in the Open European Championship in Manheim, Germany in June, but they must pay their own way in order to participate.
